Yosemite National Park. Exponential Traffic Growth. Total Travel Spending Increases.
Reason Why & Resources:
Tuolumne County is located in the heart of the Central Sierra Nevada mountain range with National Forests and National Parks totaling 70% of the county. Annual Visitation to Yosemite National Park has surpassed 4,000,000 with 32% utilizing the Highway 120 entrance through Big Oak Flat.
In partnership with Columbia Community College in Tuolumne county, we work closely with Hospitality companies to provide workforce training and apprenticeship opportunities through a Hospitality Program where candidates can receive a Certificate of Achievement.
Tuolumne County Highway 120 has 1000 rooms leaving a large gap of demand. In July of 2019, 81,000 cars drove the 120 corridor into Yosemite National Park. Find out why Tuolumne County Community Development Department is in application phase of 300+ rooms and how your business could thrive in Tuolumne County.
